Ahoy campers!
Is that’s time of the week again, where I give you three of my favourite tunes that have blessed my ears for the first time this week.
Are you ready?
Then let us begin.
First up this week is a sneaky wee preview from the “last hip-hop album ever from UKHH stalwart Vee-kay. On Good To Go, he breaks out his little black book and hauls in Dr Syntax, Sam Otis, Gee Bag, Chattabox and a whole host more to drop bars over a wicked little Klaus & Uschi sampling beat (as used in Bentley Rhythm Ace‘s Big Beat classic Bentley’s Gonna Sort You Out natch)
If it sounds like your kinda thing keep an eye on the Killamari Records bandcamp for the drop
Next up, we’re sticking with the hip-hop vibes, namely in the form of a DJ Maars reggae reboot of Luniz 90’s stoner classic to give you I Got 5 On It (DJ Maars Reggae Refix). Is there nothing this man catch reggae-ify?
Last track is Dragon Crunk a lovely little downtempo-ey slab of burbling Glitch-Hop from Mouldy Soul. Seriously nicely done blend of two styles here …
He’s going to give it away when he hits 1000 likes in his Facebook page – so get clicking!
