Sometimes, digging up 3 tracks for you lot to feast your ears on is hard work – ploughing through screeds of derivative stale takes on the same old samples, dodging PRs who insist I’m going to love their latest alt-country star (I won’t), and avoiding EDM can chafe a touch.
Compared to normal, this week’s been pretty easy. My tune-radar was finely honed and the following 3 stunners pretty much dropped into my lap this week. Result!

After a forthnight, I think I’ve finally caught up on sleep, though I think it might be a few weeks before I finally manage to completely deglitter myself – Shambala ’17, you were epic. It really reminded me of my old Big Chill days, but with an even more eclectic musical lineup and stronger ‘fringe’ of events. I can see me and mine coming back next year.
Right, tunes.

Oops, missed a week – sorry about that
(TBH, it’s bloody sunny here in Bristol, and I’m doing very well to stay in and write this rather than go sit in a pub garden …)

Time for a another ToT! (finally)
Apologies for missing this last week, but a combination of nightmare children objecting to bedtime and a wife returning from travelling with work meant I was up to my eyeballs. Then life happened, and all of a sudden it’s a week later
For those of you who were paying attention the other week, I super-subbed for the mighty talented Rackabeat on Saturday night down at the rather charming Steam Crane, and had a wonderful time. Many beats were broken and breaks were dropped, or some such.
Still, shall we?

A rush of blood to the head, and a week of rummaging through tunes (and, to be fair, an absence of anyone to go to the pub with tonight) has led to *another* Three on a Thursday.
Two week in a row?
Aren’t you lot lucky!

3, 2, 1, you’re back in the room …
Apologies for the lack of a ToT last week, I was in Toyko on my hols and was suffering from a dearth of wi-fi access – or at least reasonably priced wi-fi access – I wasn’t going to pay the £20 a day the hotel wanted to charge me – I blame my Scottish heritage for the ‘deep pockets & short arms’ nature of this excuse
Never fear though, normal service has been returned, and to make up for the emotional trauma of missing a week, I’ve dropped a double dose of tunes on you below …
