Kicks and claps build to a low down chug with a touch of a Q-Tip vocal sample into a wall of strings. Lovely little mid-tempo discofied hip-hop influenced dancefloor winner I reckon.

Next is Beat Bop, a mellow little hip-hop work-out from the early 80’s, courtesy of Rammellzee & K-Rob,
Aside from being a wonderful little slice of alternative hip-hop, with it’s simple loop and vocal effects, it’s perhaps best know as being the tune over closing sequence of Style Wars, as well as being produced by legendary grafitti artist/painter Jean-Michel Basquiat.
Last up this week comes courtesy of another little end of year round up from the King of Cardiff Beer and Beats, the Cwrw Guru himself, Marky de Sade.
The world and his wife must be familiar with California Love, the iconic 2pac & Dr Dre G Funk number, but I’d not heard the awesome Sly5thave orchestral cover version.
