Last week was a bit of an odd one. Started digging for tunes … and was generally uninspired. Not sure if it was me, a lack of digging, or just a poor week for releases, but nothing jumped out and slapped me, made me think “yeah, YEAH, this is killer!”.
Anyway the upshot was I didn’t post anything – don’t want to let the standards drop do we?
Ok, I’ll admit it, in a haze of cheese, turkey and Quality Street, I forgot what day, hell, what week it even was it was, hence the non-emergence of anything on the blog from me, since before Christmas.
Ooops – best rectify that now.
(Oh, and many thanks for The Canteen and the thoroughly goofy and highly talents Mustard Brass Band for having me play on the 23rd – check those guys and gals out, especially if you like barefoot breakdancing tuba players, as pictured above)
