More loveliness incoming from the guys over at Cast-a-Blast in the form of the Outta Here EP from the MustBeat Crew.

The title track is a slice of slinky late night soulful downtempo hip-hop/breaks, smoky, jazzy and thoroughly smooth as fuck. I can just imagine this playing in a cool little cocktail bar, late at night, whilst I sip on a well made Manhattan – brilliant stuff.

The remixes are pretty tidy as well …with blog favourite Mr  Bird upping the tempo and introducing some of his trademark horns and handclaps pitching the original straight at the early-evening dancefloor crew.

Nynfus Corporation repeats the trick, pushing things further up into total Nuskool Breaks complete with a thoroughly chunky b-line.

I’d not heard of Vono Box before this remix dropped into my inbox and I’m liking what they’ve done, turning the title track into a swing-beat stomper with a wicked drum line and loping double bass line – I’ll be keeping an eye out for more of their stuff.

This one drops on the 24th January, in all the usual places.
