DJ Soo / Feelin’ Sanctified takes its hook from Mark Ronson’s cover of Kasabian’s LSF (as well as a touch of Diversion from the same album if I’m not very much mistaken) adds a touch of the Commodores ‘I Feel Sanctified‘ and twists it into this hand’s-in-the-air smasher. I defy you to listen to this and not smile. I can see this one being in my sets for a good while. Listen below to blow those late October clouds away …

There’s been a flurry of activity over at WACK Towers over recent weeks with announcements about the launch of WACK 12 meaning more slices of deliciousness from the Northern Funk Monkey, Smoove. For this one he’s teamed up with Umbo for a proper little funk burner entitled Coming Home, which drops on the 7th November
Last one this week is from the rapidly-becoming-a-fixture-in-my-box label, Booty Fruit. Their release Homemade Bullets 3 is out on the 2nd November, and contains this scorcher from Cut La Vis which takes Skee-lo / I Wish and Stevie Wonder / Superstition, and a sprinkling of Fat Man Scoop and ODB and turns it into the imaginatively titled Superwishin’
